NRA Basic Shotgun

Provides the fundamentals required to hit a moving
target with a shotgun. Ladies please read this:We
have 20 gauge shotguns for you to use during the
course. 20 Gauge has 50% less recoil than it's cousin
12 gauge but does the same impact as a 12 gauge
!! Come try ours out. This course is the basis for
shotgun self defense, personal protection, tactical
use, hunting, skeet, trap, and sporting clays. This
NRA program offers the simple method of lead known
as the "swing to target" method of lead, so that
brand new shooters will be breaking targets on their
first time on the range. NRA textbook and certificate
are included.

NRA Basics of Shotgun Shooting handbook, Shotgun
Qualifications brochure, targets and Basic Shotgun,
Ammo and range fee are extra, range fee is $17.00
Completion Certificate. All our instructors have
graduated from tactical shotgun courses. They are
well seasoned in the tactical use of pistols, rifles,
shotguns. Summary: You will learn shotgun
knowledge and safe handling, ammunition knowledge,
fundamentals of shotgun shooting, firing first shots
and shotgun skills. You need not own your own firearm
as we can provide one for your use.

FIRST Steps - Shotgun
Length of class: 3.5 Hours - Maximum of
4 Participants Cost of class: $135/pp - Includes
use of shotgun rounds of (ammunition extra). Summary:
Our instructors are all trained in the tactical
use of a shotgun. The class provides an introduction
to shotgun safety, parts and operation, introduction
to ammunition, fundamentals of shotgun shooting,
introduction to shotgun shooting at straightway
targets, introduction to shotgun cleaning, storage
and training opportunities. You do not need to own
your own firearm as we can provide one for you.
This particular course is only an introduction to
shotguns only. This does not certify in a tactical
manner to handle personal protection. The defensive
shotgun course is what you will want to take if
this is about home defense.
